Today I attempted something new, and unlike any makeup look that I had ever done. I actually started off with an idea of doing a basic winged liner and red lips since I wanted to review this gorgeous Red Lipstick BUT BUT BUT…me being me, got totally carried away and started drawing weird strokes with my eyeliner pencil and ultimately ended up with this. I am seeing a lot of trailers of the movie PARI that happens to be a scary movie and Anushka Sharma is really looking her part of a ghost, so maybe yeah, that was somewhere there at the back of my mind too while doing this look.
It was my first attempt at creating a gory makeup look so please be kind. I know there are a lot of things about this look that are amateurish, and I promise I will work upon it and add some more finesse the next time I try it. For now, here are a LOT of pictures for you to enjoy. And ya, I’ll also list down some of the products that I used to create this look.
I am actually quite enjoying the LA Girl Pro HD Foundation that I got a few days ago. Its really good for pictures, though I quite dislike the strong scent of it. Is it comparable to the MUFE HD one? Well, lets keep it for another day..
Also, Miss Claire launched recently on Nykaa.com and I got a few things from them, amongst which was this baked blush that’s just so amazing that I cant rave enough. And its so affordable too. Really happy with that new thing in my blush drawer. Its like a highlighter and blush in one and the warm tones are so compatible with my skin. Love!
And then there’s this lipstick. Okay, I can never have too many Red lipsticks, I accept…This pretty warm red is from the Kiko Milano and Isa Arfen collaboration, also called the Asian Touch Collection. ts called the Asian Touch Matte Liquid Lipstick and I got it in the shade 01 Plushy Red. Its such a gorgeous instense color I tell you. It was a Limited Edition and I dont know if you can still find it in stores, but if you can, you must pick one.
Please don’t forget to leave your comments below. I would love to know what you think of this look and if I should try my hand at more such creative looks in the days to come.
Until next time,
