Hope you are enjoying an amazing Saturday so far. I have been feeling quite lazy and so decided to spend most of my afternoon sleeping and honestly, it feels so good to sleep without a care which for me can only happen on a weekend.
So, there’s this gorgeous eyeshadow palette that I had been meaning to talk about for a long time now but somehow things kept getting delayed. I had come across this Freedom Makeup London Pro Artist Pad called Black Arts and the name enticed me so much that I ended up searching for reviews and finally bought this one.
Okay now let’s quickly jump to the tons of amazing things that I have to say about this palette!
OMG! Where do I start from. The palette has a very i-pad-esque feel to it. There is an elastic band that holds the cover in place. The inner side has a big mirror and a can be half folded to stand the palette. It is simply an amazing choice to travel with since it gives you the freedom to create a wide variety of neutral makeup looks using the 48 shades that you get in the palette. I am a sucker for neutral eyeshadows and this palette so fits my bill in every possible way.
48 shades of shimmer, sparkle, satin and matte eyeshadows, with a great mix of lid, crease, transition and dark shades. From hues of lovely rosy golds, to smoky greys and reddish-browns, there are so many great shades in this palette that you will be spoil for choice. I really like how the entire palette has been compiled to create a multitude of makeup looks. Of the 48 shades in the palette, I found only 1 or 2 shades to be a little chalky. These were the night milky white and pink-milky white with matte finish. The rest of the shades, especially the metallic ones are so soft and buttery. They almost melt upon touch! There is no fallout with most shades barring a few dark matte shades and that too is quite manageable. The texture of these eyeshadows is also very blendable, except for one or two dark matte shades.
Where do I use this palette?
Wherever you want baby. Wear it to a wedding party, create a smoky evening look, or just a simple no-makeup makeup look. The possibilities are endless!
Overall, I just have to say that the Freedom Makeup London Pro Artist Pad Black Arts makes for an excellent addition to your eyeshadow collection. There are a variety of shades to work with with with smooth, buttery and super blendable texture. The palette is compact enough to fit in your vacation handbag and versatile enough to take you around the world. Do get it if you can because, I just can’t recommend it enough!
