So, if you have been following me on Intagram and Facebook, probably yu know by now that recently I went quite short with my hair. It’s been about 5 days now and I am totally enjoying the short inward cut as well as my bouncy voluminous hair, all thanks to my current shampoo and conditioner. And that’s what this post is going to be about! A quick short review on my current hair favorites ..
BBlunt Full On Volume Shampoo
Price: Rs 550 for 400 ml, available at Amazon.in. I have the older bottle and that had costed me Rs 500

The BBLunt Full On Volume Shampoo comes in a bright and peppy looking yellow colored bottle with a pump dispenser. The shampoo itself is quite thick and I personally like to dilute it with a little bit of water before I apply it on my hair. Because the shampoo is quite thick, if left unused for long, like about 5-7 days during peak summers, the product tends to get clogged in the nozzle and might just spurt out when you try to pump it out. Also, it has a very medicinal kind of scent, that I quite dislike to be honest. The shampoo lathers easily and gets washed away easily. After a wash with the BBlunt Full on Volume Shampoo, the colored ends of my long hair did feel quite rough and stiff and I always felt the need of a conditioner. However, now that my hair is quite short and obviously the upper hair isn’t as damaged, I do feel the shampoo doesn’t dry out my hair as much as it used to previously. Also, if there’s is one thing I’m really going crazy about, it is the incredible volume that it gives to my hair and that stays for atleast 2-3 days. That’s something really commendable because my hair is quite straight naturally and mostly limp and sits flat on my head. It’s just that conditioning does become a necessity after using this shampoo, if not everyday, then atleast after every 2nd day.
But then, I am not complaining at all. The BBlunt Full On Volume Shampoo does exactly what it claims, that is gives my fine hair incredible volume and lift and thus a new lease of life. I haven’t tried too many volumising shampoos in the past, but from whatever I have tried back in time, this one certainly surpasses them all in terms of delivering 100% on all it claims.
Highly recommended for fine hair that lacks volume!
BBlunt Intense Moisture Conditioner
Price : Rs 400 for 200 g, also available at Amazon.in. Mine was at the older price of Rs 375.

The BBlunt Intense Moisture Conditioner comes in a peppy blue colored squeeze tube with a circular face. There is a flip top cap that closes tightly and even if yu store the tube upside down, which is how it should stand on your shelf, there will be no spillage whatsoever. I have to say that the packaging has been very efficiently designed and I quite like it. Its different, and yet quite functional.
About the conditioner, oh-my-god, what can I say. I haven’t really come across a conditioner so effective in a really really long time. On the face of it, it may seem like an ordinary conditioner, but you really see the difference after your hair dries up. The conditioner nourishes even the driest of hair ends and this I can say because constant coloring over the years had made my hair ends very very dry. BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! What I loved the most about this conditioner is that it is very heavy duty BUT it doesn’t weigh your hair down. What I have noticed with some deep conditioning hair products is that they tend to make your hair look flat and limp. This one isn’t one of those. And then of course, there’s the SHINE!
It’s so so different. I can’t stress it enough. If you have fine hair that’s also dry, you got to give this conditioner a try. I absolutely love it, and I am sure you will love it too!
