Alright! I admit..I am guilty..Of not having tried false eyelashes in any of my makeup looks ever… in these 5 years of being a makeup fanatic, despite being an eye makeup enthusiast for the longest time ever, despite having seen all those pretty girls taking their makeup looks one step up with those gorgeous lashes, despite wanting to try them for so long but developing cold feet at the last moment.. yeah, you can blame me for being such a stonehead..but I reckon I had my own simple reasons for not doing so.. A major one being the unavailability of affordable and good quality eyelashes and adhesives in the Indian market. I really didn’t want to go and buy them from some high end brand for the sole purpose of playing with them in the comfortable confines of my dressing room…nah!! that’s not me..I’m definitely quite prudent that way..
However, with the entry of PAC in the eyelashes segment at a pocket friendly price tag, I decided to give them a shot. I ordered the PAC 60 Tapered Eyelashes from the numerous variants available, you can check them all over HERE. The next step was finding a good quality glue and I chanced upon the Ardell Lash Grip Eyelash adhesive (Clear) and it all just fit in together.
The PAC Eyelashes Come in a box and are simple to use and can be stored in the same box again. They were quite soft and application was also easy. I really can’t believe I did it so easily, the application I mean. It was definitely not perfect, but for a first timer, I guess I did okay. Thank goodness for all those youtube videos! I washed these post usage and thankfully they are still intact
I wanted to try something dramatic with the eyelashes and came up with this makeup look. This particular makeup look also allowed me to play with some new makeup products and tools, of which I will definitely speak in detail in subsequent posts.
For now, just leaving you guys with pictures of the makeup look. Also, if you have any suggestions or tips on usage and care for false eyelashes, please let me know in the comments. I actually struggled a lot to clean the lashes after taking them off and wasn’t quite sure how should I clean them so ended up using a makeup remover and then a wash with baby shampoo. I hope that wouldn’t damage these lashes..Fingers crossed!
