The secret to making your lipstick application perfect and add a few extra hours to the longevity is using the correct lip liner. I am as much a lip liner hoarder as lipstick and today I’m going to talk about this tiny little gem in my collection that I had just picked up on a whim while on a trip to Sephora .
The Sephora nano lip liner (Rs 415 /0.57 g) is a really tiny pencil that can possibly fit in my palm. A color coded tail will help you identify this pencil in your stash. The pencil is the sharpenable kind and since that allows me to get a sharp tip every single time I use it, I am really not complaining.
The texture of this pencil is really soft, such that it glides on lips easily, but thankfully not crumbly so there is no product wastage even if you apply a little extra pressure. The pencil is intensely pigmented and you don’t have to swipe across multiple times to get the desired color intensity.
Pleasant Plum is a dark and deep shade of , uh-well, PLUM, and if not for the finish , I can easily say that the shade is a more matte form of MAC’s Rebel, and for beauty lovers, that’s not exactly a bad thing, isn’t it?
Pleasant Plum easily lasts the entire day on me,and even afterwards it leaves a beautiful plum stain on the lips so the lips are never bare. Surprisingly, this is one lip liner which I wear more frequently on its own than as a base to a similar colored lipstick.
