Winters in the Northern part of India this year have not been going on well. First it was the smog in the beginning of the season, and then the stuffy and not-so-wintery winter, that left all of us confused. On any given day, I couldn’t normally make out whether it was going to be cold or not because ideally it should’ve been , but alas, it never was. The days have been really warm and I read in the papers that this was the hottest winter in the last 400 years in Delhi. Man! that’s quite some data..
Anyway, whether it is cold or not is another thing, but there is no denying the fact that it has been an extremely dry weather, and partly due to weather and partly due to ageing, the texture of my skin is rapidly changing. Add on the extra stress and long hours in front of a computer, my skin has started looking dry and drab, lifeless in short and I was desperately looking for some heavy duty stuff to add to my skincare regime.
After having read a lot of reviews and trusting the experiences of fellow bloggers and friends, I decided to try KAMA AYURVEDA for the first time. Haha, yes, my god, I can’t believe I never tried this brand before despite there being a store exactly at one of my most frequented market area, right next to another favourite store of mine.
So, one fine evening, I just walked inside the store, picked these two products (Kumkumadi Miraculous Beauty Fluid and Rejuvenating and Brightening Ayurvedic Night Cream) and walked out. No testing around, not much thinking and absolutely no wasting time (time is a luxury people! something that I am constantly deprived of!). The SA at the store was generous enough to hand me over some samples of their much sought after Bringadi Hair Oil too which I would try next weekend.
I have already started using the two face products I have bought, and though it is too early to comment, I think I really like these sink into the skin and work their way deep into the layers of skin without being too superficial about it. Watch out for detailed reviews at the end of next month.
Until next time, Ka-ciao!
