With the hectic everyday schedules that all of us have these days, who wants to add an additional hassle of going to a supermarket, spend unproductive time getting stuck in traffic and then looking for a suitable parking space. Keeping these things in mind, I am really thankful to online stores who offer apps where you just add the required products to your basket, select a payment mode and leave the rest to the online store.
PepperTap is one such online store where you have seven categories that more or less fulfil all your everyday grocery needs, right from fruits and vegetables to food and drinks, breakfast and dairy to staples and spices, home and hygiene, bath and body and baby needs. Now all of those categories roughly add up to all of your daily needs and I am sure I’m not the only busy mom who is thankful to the creators of this app.
My Experience with PepperTap was simply smooth and hassle free. First, the app is free for download on Android and iOS store and a special feature of this app also allows you to choose a delivery time slot for your order which I felt was a great thing and saved me the ambiguity of arrival of the delivery person.
I had placed my order one evening and selected a delivery time between 8 pm to 10 pm the next day and was glad to get my order right on time. The delivery personnel were properly dressed in a PepperTap branded tee and I got my products in a recyclable red PepperTap bag. A point to be mentioned is that there was no paper receipt that I got from them and I was told to check my PepperTap account for notification regarding the out of stock items. Yes, I did not get all of the products that I had ordered, so probably a more up to date list of stocks on the app would have saved me of the disappointment. Also, I really wish there were more brands/options to choose in each of the categories.
I had ordered some packaged food like cakes and biscuits which had a recent manufacturing date so I am satisfied on the quality front.
Every once in a while, you also get to enjoy some discounts on the app and who doesn’t like that. And yes, delivery is free for orders above Rs 250, below which it’s a flat Rs 50 delivery charge that is applicable.
Overall, the PepperTap app can be a saviour when you are running out of absolute essentials since their delivery is fast, however, for other days, there are better apps to do my grocery shopping from.
