There are fragrances and there are unusually beautiful fragrances that ignite a feeling of nostalgia every time you get a whiff of them. The White Musk EDT from The Body Shop is one scent that is reminiscent of the times when I was just getting introduced to the brand. One of my first purchases, and definitely my first and now favourite fragrance from the brand that got me hooked on. After innumerable bottles of using this fragrance I now finally am here with my review on the loveliest bouquet of aroma from the house of The Body Shop.
Packaged in a lovely lilac and transparent vintage looking bottle, this velvety scent is probably the cleanest and most delicately feminine scent I have ever tried. No mish-mash of complex aromas, no confusion over here. It is gentle, beautifully wearable and a classic, yet in a very contemporary sort of way! It can enwrap you in an innocent aura of a young girl, or encapsulate the senses in a smog of lady-like maturity, depending on your mood and the day.
There is no fixed occasion for wearing this scent, no particular time of the day, absolutely no fuss around it. There is an unmistakable identity around this scent and that makes it easy to spot this scent on someone else.
The enigmatic sensuality about this fragrance that would make you think of summer nights, a stroll in a park, damp hair right out of a shower… A woman who is unaware of her charm, yet manages to make heads turn with here carefree style…
Lasting all day long, better when layered with the shower gel and the perfume oil, the scent is something I would never outgrow.. Like I said, it is for everyone, every single woman out there ..yes, I mean it!!
