Of late, the monsoons have been creating a havoc for my hair and I decided to switch to my shampoo to something that I had never tried before. I picked up the Garnier Fructis Triple Strengthening Shampoo in a large 640 ml bottle and after using this for about three weeks now, here’s my review on the same.
The Garnier Fructis Triple Strengthening Shampoo comes in a vibrant yellow and green colored bottle with an easy to use pump dispenser (only this large bottle though, the smaller ones have a flip top cap) . I always try to look for shampoos with pump dispenser as they are far more easy to use.
The consistency of this shampoo is thick and dense and its always easier to spread the product when mixed with a little bit of water. This has a sweet floral scent that I like. The scents stays for a while after a shower but then it is faint and lingering and not at all overbearing.
The shampoo lathers fairly well and I need three pumps on an average to wash my medium to long hair. It is easy to rinse off and leaves hair feeling clean and soft.
The Garnier Fructis Triple Strengthening Shampoo does not dry out hair and on most occasions I skip a conditioner too. The ingredient list shows the Coconut Oil, Almond Oil and Olive Oil as important components and I think that is the reason I noticed the soft and nourished feel of my hair from the first wash onward. It also has some fruit extracts listed in the ingredients list that claim to work on strengthening the roots of hair. I haven’t quite noticed a major reduction in the hair fall though.
Overall, the Garnier Fructis Triple Strengthening Shampoo is a great budget shampoo that maintains and also adds on to the natural moisture levels of hair. However, I haven’t yet noticed any major effects on the hair fall part but then I guess it may be because of the season too because my hair always becomes weak whenever the humidity levels go up. If you are looking for a shampoo for normal to dry hair, this would surely be a great budget product to try.
