The Body Shop MORINGA BODY SORBET & SATSUMA BODY SORBET : Review
I wouldn’t be exaggerating if I said summers make me run away from Body Moisturizers while I do know that drying summers can take a toll on the moisture levels of the skin. No matter which body lotion I tried, I always ended up with sweaty and greasy inner elbows and kneepits. When I recieved these Body Sorbets from The Body Shop to try, needless to say I was quite intrigued by the concept to use them on myself as soon as possible and I have all good things to say about these.

The Body Shop Body Sorbets come in 5 variants, out of which I have only spotted three across all TBS stores that I’ve visited (and please correct me if I’m wrong!). Since I’m miles away from the scent of strawberries, I was glad to get the Moringa and Satsuma variants of these to try at two different occasions. The Satsuma (fruity) scent is my absolute favorite from the body shop range of skincare and I’ve recently developed a taste for floral scents too thanks to this Moringa Body Sorbet.

The Body Sorbets are available in large 200 ml tubes with a flip top cap and colored body tubes. The products are easy to use but difficult to carry around since they are quite bulky.
The consistency of these body sorbets is well, like a sorbet, albeit a slushy frozen one ! As you apply and spread the product, the skin feels cool and refreshed. With a burning 45 degrees outside, these can really be a treat for your skin. A texture that melts into your skin with a cool wet feeling and settles into a velvety finish, the body sorbets are indeed a delight to use. After reading this, don’t be fooled into thinking that probably it wouldn’t deliver moisture. Well surely The Body Shop did invest in product research because the body sorbets do pack in a punch when it comes to providing moisture to the skin.
It is an unusual combination! Delightful, sweet smelling, cooling and keeps the skin hydrated for as long as 5-6 hours.
What more do you need to fight summers?

The Body Sorbets are certainly not meant for super dry skin and you might want to try some body lotions by TBS in that case. (Read my review on The Sweet Lemon and Indian Night Jasmine Lotion HERE ). I can’t rave enough about these Body Sorbets, so go and check them out at your nearest TBS store asap!Until next time,

Ka-Ciao!
