Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair moisturizer (NIGHT) : Review
 Hi everyone,
Neutrogena is a brand that I don’t like to gamble much with. I’ve tried only a few of their products and there have been hits and misses in my story. While the deep clean Face Wash and Deep Clean Blackhead eliminating daily scrub I’ve loved and repurchased, the Ultra Sheer Dry touch Sunblock was a huge disappointment for me. Read on to know my saga about this Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair moisturizer (NIGHT).

I was looking for an evening moisturizer, a transition moisturizer, after a workday, and before bedtime, something that would give enough hydration and plumpness to my overexposed skin at the end of the day. On a trip to NewU , the SA convinced me to try this stuff and since I had read some good reviews previously, I decided to give this stuff a run.

The Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair moisturizer (NIGHT) comes in a sturdy metallic grey bottle with a pump dispenser that can be twisted to lock. The packaging is chic and I have always liked “twist to close” pumps. They save that extra second that you would otherwise spend to cap and uncap.
The moisturizer is a creamy yellow colored and the texture is medium to light. On my normal skin, it did well to sink into the skin at the peak of winters, however, during these hot summers, I avoid it unless I know I would not step out of the A/C. Making the moisturizer disappear into my skin is easy and effortless.
Now comes the most important part, i.e. the efficacy of this product on wrinkles or in my case fine lines around the eyes and smile lines. I used this product over a period of about 4 months now, on and off , I admit since I did face some issues as mentioned on the packaging as soon as I started using it. For the first few times that I used it, my skin would turn itchy, and there would be a slightly warm and tingling sensation , and  it was not at all a comfortable feeling to say the least. The print on the bottle does indicate these symptoms and mentions that this means the product is working on the skin. I would like to think of it as a first timer with Retinol based products, this is probably natural.
Anyway, for the first few weeks that I used this moisturizer, I would definitely say that it did improve the overall appearance of my facial skin. The skin looked brighter, softer and more plump than before. But the fine lines, they were still there! This moisturizer claims to work on wrinkles and it didn’t even work slightly on my fine lines! I think 3-4 weeks is a good enough time to test the claims/efficacy of the product and for the same reason, I would say this Rapid Wrinkle Repair Moisturizer did not work for me.

Overall, while the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Moisturizer works substantially on restoring the moisture balance of the skin without making it too oily or greasy, and resulted in addressing the secondary skin problems like dullness and roughness pretty well, this moisturizer did not work on the fine lines around my eyes and mouth. I would probably finish up this bottle but not repurchase.

Try it if you don’t have any major skin concerns like ageing skin, fine lines etc and are looking for a daily moisturizer that will deliver more than your regular facial moisturizer. For others, skip it!
