Faces CC Cream , (Rs 399/ 35 ml), available across Faces Counters throughout India

BB and CC Creams have been such a rage in the past year or so, and these have made a place in every girls’ vanity. Faces very recently came up with its own version of CC (Correct and Care) Cream and a few weeks ago, I was sent one in the shade Natural by the brand to try . Today, I’m going to share my thoughts on the same.

The Faces CC Cream comes in a simple black plastic squeeze tube with a screw top cap. It is easy to use and travel friendly.

The Faces CC Cream claims to have multiple action of

  • Prime :
  • Perfect
  • Protect

The Faces CC Cream comes with the added advantage of SPF 20.
The Faces CC Cream has a soft mousse like consistency and spreads easily on the skin, just on it’s own or even over a moisturizer. You can blend it either with your fingers, or to get a more even finish, blend with a foundation brush. Trust me, it really doesn’t take much effort…In the image below , I have used a foundation brush to blend the CC Cream and I am really happy with the finish I get this way.
The finish is is what we like to call as dewy. It gives a soft radiant glow, evens out minor imperfections and moisturizes your skin. For girls with very oily skin, you would need to set the product with a little bit of powder. I have realized the cream is working better on me as the climate is turning dry and cold. Until about a few weeks back, the cream would turn oily around the T-Zone of the face and since I don’t like to use powder much, so I avoided the usage of this product. But these days, I can comfortably wear the product without the need of frequent touch-ups.
The one con that I can think of is this CC Cream doesn’t provide much coverage, so blemished skin would need an extra step of concealing under this CC Cream
I get a wear time of about 5-6 hours with this product.

Overall, I am mighty impressed with the quality and finish of this CC Cream. The soft , mousse like consistency makes blending super easy and if you just take an extra minute to blend with a foundation brush, the finish you get will be totally worth it. The CC Cream is a great everyday choice for Normal-dry skin with minor imperfections. For excessively oily skin, setting with a powder is must. Also , since the coverage is very light , blemished skin would need a layer of concealer underneath.

Bare Skin, only with a moisturizer!!
With the Faces BB Cream on, notice the even skin and soft glow :)
