Hi everyone,
On Tuesday, the 15th of October, I attended the launch of new Ultime Pro Lip Creme by Faces at their standalone store in GK, M block Market. The theme was Cocktails and the Ultime Pro Lip Cremes were displayed in a beautiful array of cocktail glasses. The fun part is that  the Lip Creme names have also been inspired by cocktails. The event was marked by the presence of India’s renowned makeup artist, Vidya Tikari, who has been working with Faces ever since it was launched in India.
Vidya demonstrated two cocktail makeup looks using Faces products about which I will talk later in this post.

I also happened to get the swatches of all the six shades that were launched under the Lip Cremes category, from a sultry red to vibrant Oranges and Pinks, a sexy purple and a ultra chic Nude, this range has it all. Here are the swatches for you girls!!

From Left to Right: Red Mary, Fuchsia Sparkler, Pink-a-colada, Grape Martini, Hawaiian Orange and Nude Mojito
I tried the Grape Martini one at the store and I must say I was very impressed with the texture and feel of the product on the lips. I also got a sample of the same so stay tuned for a detailed review with prices and other details of the same very soon :)

Faces has also launched the Glam on Perfect Blush in four new shades and a revamped packaging. I managed to get some pictures and swatches of the same as well for you all.

From Left to right: Coral Pink, Hot Pink, Gold dust, Cocktail Peach

Another new product on the shelf was the Faces GLAM ON Prime Perfect Pressed powder which is available in 5 shades. The powder was silky smooth to touch and the packaging was very chic. You will see a review on one of these on the blog very soon too :)
Every time I enter the Faces store , I am mesmerized by the colorful ambiance of the store, especially in the Nail Enamel category. I wonder if there is any other brand which makes nail colors in so many shades and finishes, Neons, mattes, glossy lacquers, Sand Coats, Glitters and so many others <3

Oh yes, and how can you forget the stackables, they’re like the star product from Faces, and a personal favorite with Vidya Tikari.

So, here’s the first look that Vidya did on a model sticking to neutral colors and yet striking. This was my favorite of the two simply because I think it is hard to make a neutral makeup look so powerful. Vidya used the stackable shimmers on the model’s eyes, metalliglow liquid highlighter on her face for some extra radiance and the Lip Creme in Nude Mojito

For the second look, Vidya went bold with colors in vibrant hues of Gold, Blue and Burgundy. This was such a beautiful evening look and absolutely perfect for a cocktail party. She again used eyeshadows from the stackable shimmers, Metalliglow highlighter and the Lip Creme in Grape Martini

I am totally floored by her makeup skills and perhaps can now understand why she is so popular in India and worldwide. It was such a pleasure watching her at work. Her personal favorites from the Lip Creme Range were the two that she used on the models, Nude Mojito and Grape Martini and honestly, these two were the ones that even I liked the most!

What shades did you like from the lot? Let me know in your comments..
Have a great day everyone..
