New Glossissimo boasts a high-performance formula that leaves lips lusciously luminous, silky soft and velvety smooth. The formula is also enriched with the moisturising, anti-oxidant and anti-free radicals properties of Fruit of the Forest DH Complex, which forms a soft protective film over the lips that shields them from harmful UV radiation and leaves them feeling and looking soft, plump and velvety smooth. Hypoallergenic*.

It comes in a cylindrical gloss tube with a straight sponge tip applicator, which is easy to use and applies the product without mistakes. It has a mild bubblegum like scent to it which I like. The formula is neither too thick ,nor too thin and very very smooth. It is medium pigmented, and I need to layer up the color atleast twice to get decent coverage. It is sticky in the sense that it clings to your lips and might catch stray hair on your face, but not sticky when you purse your lips together (I hope I’m able to explain it well!!) . The lipgloss stays on for about 2.5 to 3 hours and never completely fades. The stickiness in the formula makes sure some parts of your lips hold on tightly to the product and in case you need a retouch, you have to first wipe out the traces of the previously applied gloss and then reapply the product to avoid any patchiness. The finish of this one is super glossy and that’s one reason I keep going back to this gloss. On top of a neutral pink lipcolor, or a pink-nude lip pencil, this gloss stays for much longer and imparts a brilliant shine. On the same note, I have tried using it over even deeper lip colors like MAC’s Lady Danger and it really lifts up the matte lip color to another level.
And because I’ve been watching a lot of makeupgeek’s videos for the last few nights, I decided to imitate one of her eye makeup looks. Hope you like it
