HIMALAYA Herbals: Intensive Moisturizing Body Lotion

Himalaya Herbals Intensive Moisturizing Body Lotion For Dry/Extra Dry skin (INR 80/100 ml) with Cocoa butter and Wheatgerm is a slightly cream colored body lotion with a soft cocoa butter smell that lingers for a while after application and that keeps skin nourished for upto 10 hrs in my case.
The consistency is slightly thicker than a usual body lotion and has to be massaged into skin. It comes in a regular Bottle with a  flip top cap.

I prefer using Body Lotions meant for dry/extra dry skin in the cold and dry winter months and although winters haven’t arrived yet, I’m finding this lotion to be a real savior when some of my other body lotions meant for normal skin have failed because the winds are harsher than usual and are taking away moisture from my skin . And it doesn’t leave any Oily residue, just soft, supple skin that looks and feels nourished.
The key ingredients mentioned on the pack are Cocoa Butter , Olive Oil, Grape seed Oil, Wheatgerm oil and it is also mentioned on the pack it is best used after bathing which I believe is true for making the best of any body lotion/cream/butter. I like the fact that the scent of this body lotion is very mild and soft and stays for quite some time, unlike many which are high on the scent but then they would fade away fast.

Overall, The Himalaya Herbals Intensive Moisturizing Lotion is a great Body Lotion on a budget that can give stiff competition to many other high end brands. It’s Hypo-allergic and Dermatologically tested so unless you have an aversion to sweet scents, there is no reason why you should not pick up this one. A great companion for winters and dry seasons and although it’s mentioned on tha pack that it’s for Dry/extra Dry Skin, I think it can be used well on Normal skin too.
