REVLON Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain- 020 Lovesick : Review

Hi all,
I have been wanting to lay my hands on the REVLON Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains as soon as they were launched in the US and was desperately waiting for Revlon to launch those in India, so when I heard that they are already here, I just went and grabbed one. The store had just received the stocks the previous night and hence, there were no testers available so I picked a PINK one just because I knew I can not really go too wrong with that color. There are a total of 10 shades launched in India (as compared to the 12 that are there in US, I don’t know why companies do that, i.e. not release the full collection here in India). Anyway, although I was initially inclined to pick up a nude/neutral , but those two were not there so I picked this.
Product Claims:

It’s a pampering balm fused with a lightweight lip stain in an adorable chubby crayon. Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain gives softer, smoother lips with a perfect flush of color that lasts hour after hour. The gel formula comes in 12 vibrant shades that match any look or mood.
  • Lightweight Lip stain + Moisturizing Balm.
  • 100% of women who tried it felt their lips were instantly moisturized with a soft stain of color.
  • Retractable chubby crayon, no sharpener required.

The REVLON Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain (INR 600/2.7 g) in Lovesick  is a true Fuchsia with Purple tones. I just love this shade. It is a very wearable shade across many skintones because of the sheer-ness of the texture. It is creamy and glides effortlessly on the lips , and even though its so creamy it goes on evenly without placing too much of a product at one place. It does not bleed or feather as you would expect from a product of this consistency. It is not fully opaque, so in case you have pigmented lips, you would need to fill them prior to application.
The balm has a very mint-y fragrance which I like and after application I felt a slight cooling sensation on my lips which I feel would be great for the coming summers.I did not sense any taste though.
It gives a very glossy shine to the lips and makes them look juicy but after about an hour of wear, it settles into a fine stain which is there for about 4-5 hours after the product has gone. At no point in time will it leave your lips bare, but if you like a shiny tint, you would want to reapply often.
The product comes in a retractable plastic
crayon with the color of the crayon being similar to the shade of the lip color. It has a silvery metallic screw bottom which brings out the product as you need. The cap is also plastic and the same color as the crayon. It has a shelf life of three years which is enough to use it up. I like the packaging a lot as it is travel friendly and the screw bottom kind of locks which eliminates all fear of the product coming out and messing up inside the cap.

Overall , its a great lip product for me, and I’m going to buy Rendezvous (a sheer tangy Orange) and maybe Romantic (a brownish Red) from this range.

I recommend!!!!!
