MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick- Girl About Town ; Review/Swatch

Hi again sweeties,
The weather is just so awesome these days here in Delhi, that I feel like stayed glued to my Blog and do as much as possible with the little time that I have.
Today, I’m going to share with you all , my favourite  Fuchsia lipstick that I so enjoy wearing these days…Its the Amplified Creme Lipstick from MAC- Girl About Town.

MAC describes Girl About Town as Bright Blue Fuchsia and its just that. A true Fuchsia that would also look great on Indian skin tones, perhaps the medium and lighter tones more than others, yet I can’t really put it in that bracket. If you are experimental with bright colors, this one is a must have from MAC .
The lipstick has signature vanilla fragrance that all MAC lipsticks have . And I love it to say the least. The scent does vanishe after a couple of minutes though.
The finish of this lipstick is Amplified creme which is pretty moisturizing and leaves the lips tender even after long hours of wear, its absolutely a delight to wear this lipstick because of it finish.
The texture is really soft and creamy, and it glides on smoothly without any pulling or tugging. And even though th elipstick is soft, it does not deposit in the fine lines or bleed.
The pigmentation is great and it comes off opaque in a single coat. You don’t have to go for a second swipe unless you really want to pile on more color or to deepen it.
On me it stayed on for more than 8-10 hours with a meal in between so I can say its pretty long lasting. It fades away evenly without being patchy and if you use a lipliner you can just go on whole day without touchups. Of course usinga gloss on top of it will decrease the staying time, but then its up to you…..Personally I would love to reapply it but since it has already got a glossy finish, I usually don’t pair it up with a gloss.
I don’t say this for many lipsticks, but if I ever run out of this one, I will most definitely buy it again.
And yup, it is from th epermanent line so no worries about that part too…yay!!!!

And here’s me wearing GAT again :)

I’m also wearing this lipstick HERE

P.S. : The thing which really compelled me to buy this lipstick was this picture of Beyonce wearing it! 😀
Isn’t she looking just WOW!!

Till next time..

WOW Agnibanya! This is such a bold shade & I LOVE it! The only problem with this for me would be that I wouldn't know what clothes to pair it with.
PS- I have a giveaway on my blog where you can win a salon or spa treatment of your choosing, would love if you could join in: http://www.magalic.com/2012/09/giveaway-win-wittygift-experience-box.html

Thanks Magali…I pair it with everything, Indian traditional as well as Western casulas……Maybe I wouldn't like to wear it with formals but then there isn't such a rule like that..No?
